The March unit meetings will focus on development of the local League's programming for 2008-2009. This year's progam included education and advocacy on affordable housing, child and adolescent care, health care, land use and the General Plan, mental health, sustainability and water. Please provide your input via fax or snail mail using the same form used in February if you are unable to attend the March unit meeting.

Saturday, May 17, 2008	10;;00 a.m. - 12 noon	To be Determined	State of the Community. LWV of Claremont Observers will be giving their yearly report. The Claremont League's Sustainability and Water committees will also be giving an update. All MEMBERS and the PUBLIC are invited.

Our annual meeting to elect officers, approve a budget, approve the coming year's program and conduct other League business as appropriate. This is the meeting that LWV of Claremont presents its newest member of the Ruth K. Ordway Awardees.
