Every two years the National LWV asks local Leagues to submit suggestions for the national League program for the following two years. We are asked to review national LWV positions - which are listed in our Claremont Area League 2007-2008 Directory and Yearbook on pages 23-25.

National League will soon be concluding its study of Immigration, and will presumably present a new poistion on this subject at its June convention in Portland, Oregon.
If you have a recommendation for a new study, please list it below:

If you know of a local or state position (also listed in our Directory) which you think the LWV-US should adopt by concurrence, please list it below.

If you think there is an important topic for which national League has a position, and that LWV-US should be doing eduction and advocacy (action) on that position please list it below.

Every year the LWV of the Claremont Area League also decides on its program for the following year. Please review our local League poisitons (pages 37-40) in our Directory and Yearbook.
If you have any suggestions for our local League for updating positions, doing a new study, or important topics on which we have positions and should be doing education and advocacy (taking action on) please list them below.
